Bold and Sweet Medium Roast from Colombia

Roast Level: Medium

Altura means "altitude" and this blend is created from high grown coffees on farms along the slopes of the Andes. This blend is a result of uniting 420 smallholder farms from the Buesaco region of Narino, Colombia. The coffee cherries underwent a 24 to 48 hour aerobic fermentation in aerated tanks and then dried for 8 days creating the wonderful flavours present in this coffee.

You can expect a well bodied medium roast with notes of milk chocolate, caramel and honey. This is a wonderful coffee to drink everyday to start your mornings. We particularly love this as a drip coffee or French press. The roast level and sweetness also makes it a delicious espresso.

  2. Boil 300g of filtered water
  3. Start timer and pour 60g of water in a circular motion over the grounds
  4. Wait 45 seconds, then pour up to 140g total water weight in circular motion
  5. Wait 30 seconds, then pour up to 220g total water weight in circular motion
